Epson iProjection is a wireless projection app designed for Android devices and Chromebooks. This app enables easy screen mirroring and wireless projection of PDF files and photos to a compatible Epson projector.

Key Features:

  • Mirror your device's screen and project your device's audio through the projector.
  • Project photos, PDF files, and real-time video from your device's camera.
  • Simple device connection by scanning a projected QR code.
  • Connect up to 50 devices to the projector, display up to four screens simultaneously, and share the projected image with other connected devices.
  • Annotate projected images using a pen tool and save the edited images on your device.
  • Control the projector with app functions resembling a remote control.

Notes:

  • For a list of supported projectors, visit https://support.epson.net/projector_appinfo/iprojection/en/. You can also find the list of supported projectors in the app's support menu under "Supported Projectors".
  • You can project JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF files via the "Photos" and "PDF" functions.
  • Connecting via QR code is not supported for Chromebooks.

About the Mirroring Feature:

  • If you are running Android 11 on your Chromebook, please note that the mirroring feature may have occasional compatibility issues. If this occurs, try restarting the mirroring feature, restarting the app, and restarting your Chromebook. Alternatively, consider using Epson iProjection from the Chrome Web Store.
  • During device screen mirroring, there may be a delay in video and audio playback depending on device and network specifications. Only unprotected content can be projected.
  • Audio output during mirroring is supported for Android 10 or later, or for Chromebooks running Android 11. On Chromebooks, sound can only be output from apps installed from the Google Play Store.

Using the App:

Ensure that the projector's network settings have been configured before proceeding with the following steps:

  1. Switch the input source on the projector to "LAN" to display network information.
  2. Connect your Android device or Chromebook to the same network as the projector through "Settings" > "Wi-Fi".
  3. Launch Epson iProjection and connect to the projector.
  4. Select and project content from options such as "Mirror Device Screen", "Photos", "PDF", "Web Page", or "Camera".

* For Chromebooks, connect to the projector using either infrastructure mode or Advanced connection mode. Additionally, if a DHCP server is utilized on the network and the Chromebook's IP address is set to manual, automatic search for the projector may not function properly. Set the Chromebook's IP address to automatic configuration.
